What is bookmatched?

We maximize the usage of every piece of wood. Some raw wood slabs have a smaller size than others, and to transform them into live edge furniture, we find a technique named bookmatched. We split the wood in the center to create a bigger surface, and also it turns out to create a unique pattern. Look-a-like pattern side by side that we call bookmatched. Still one of a kind and wood-personalized only for you.

Toraja tables are inspired by the family bond and social life of the Toraja community and the Tongkonan roof (Toraja traditional house).
